This page explains how Steel City Earthworks handles information submitted through this website.

When you contact us

We receive the name, phone number or email address, project location, service choice, timing and project details you choose to provide. We use this information to respond, discuss estimates, coordinate services and maintain business records.

Form processing

Our forms are processed by Formspree. Submissions are sent to that provider and may be delivered to our business email. Formspree and our email provider process information under their own terms and privacy practices. See Formspree’s privacy policy. Hosting providers may also process technical information such as IP addresses and request logs.

Website measurement

The site can use Google Analytics when configured. When enabled, the site asks permission before loading optional analytics and storing marketing-source information. Declining does not prevent you from contacting us. If enabled and accepted, analytics can record page visits, contact-link clicks and successful inquiry events. We do not intentionally send your name, contact details, project location or project notes to Google Analytics.

With permission, marketing-source information from campaign links and the referring website may be kept in your browser for up to 30 days and included with your inquiry. This helps us understand where inquiries originate. We limit this to source, medium, campaign and referring host; advertising click IDs are not collected by this version.

Browser storage

A measurement preference, if selected, is kept for up to 180 days. Short-lived session storage supports the confirmation page and reduces repeated measurement of the same successful submission. The confirmation record contains the inquiry type and page, not your contact details or project description.

Retention and choices

We keep inquiry information as needed to respond, carry out services and maintain necessary business records. Contact us to ask about your information or request deletion, subject to records we need to retain. Avoid including sensitive personal or financial information in the project form.
